  1. What is a Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) ID number?

    Residents of SA who are employed in the buiding and construction industry are eligible to apply for a CITB number. If deemed eligble you may recieve subsidies towards training which is relevant to the industry.

  2. How can I get a CITB number?

    You need to contact CITB and complete their application form. Once approved, you will be issued with an ID number. CITB Tel: 08 8172 9500.

  3. Is my Forklift ticket/license recognised interstate?

    Some state will recognise the South Australian License (notice of satisfactory assessment). You must check with the relevant authority in each state to check their requirements.

  4. Is my Elevated Work Platform certificate recognised interstate?

    The certificate of competency as issued by Safework SA is recognised by all states and territories of within Australia.

  5. What's the difference between a EWP course and a Yellow Card course?

    EWP = Boom lift over 11m (this also includes under 11m). Yellow Card = Either Boom lift under 11m or any Scissor lift.

  6. If I loose my Forklift ticket/license how can I get another one?

    We can re-issue you with another ticket/license; the fee for this process is $49.50.

  7. If I loose my EWP or Yellow Card ticket/license how can I get another one?

    You will need to contact either Safework SA (tel: 08 8303 0400) for EWP or EWPAA (tel: 1800 015 166) for Yellow Card to request a replacement.

  8. Once I've completed my course how long before I get my license?

    Forklift and Earth Moving (load shifting) - same day / from us.

    EWP - approx 3 weeks / sent from Safework SA.

    Yellow Card - approx 3 weeks / sent from EWPAA

    White Card - approx 3 weeks / sent from Safework SA

  9. What happens if I cannot attend my course?

    Please refer to our terms and conditions and call us as soon as you know you are unable to attend.

  11. Will I get confirmation that I'm booked?

    Yes, once your registration form and payment has been recieved and processed. If you do not hear from us then please contact to ensure we have received your registration form.

  12. What happens if I fail the assessment?

    If you deemed to be 'not competent' then you will need to wait 21 days before you can resit another assessment (a fee may apply).
