Unit of Competency: TLILIC0001 - Licence to Transport Dangerous Goods by Road

To provide learners with the a comprehensive understanding of the hazards associated with the handling and transport of dangerous goods by road. This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge to interpret HAZCHEM codes, Australian Goods Code (ADG Code) and all of the state related requirements to obtain a dangerous goods (DG) driver licence to transport Dangerous Goods.
To gain a Dangerous Goods Licence in SA, participants must be 18 years or older and hold a SA Drivers licence .
NOTE: Driver licence means a licence (including a probationary and a conditional licence but not including a provisional or learner's licence or permit) - From Dangerous Substances (Dangerous Goods Transport) Regulations 2008 - V 1.10.2021 - Part 1 Interpretation/ Division 1 General/ Driver Licence.
