This combined Traffic Controller and Traffic Management Implementer introduction course provides Learners with the skills and knowledge to implement traffic management plans and control traffic on urban streets and low volume rural roads (Category 1) in South Australia.

Provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to implement traffic management plans and control traffic in temporary traffic management category 2 environments on high-volume roads in South Australia

TMD1 - Training (3 Days)

- Learners must have submitted the Verification of Work Experience form and have received ATC’s approval to attend the course
- Learners must bring laptop and charger to access and use course resources in a digital format
- Arrival must be 15 minutes prior to the course start time. Late arrivals will not be permitted.
- Learners MUST be 18 years of age and bring photo ID containing photo, signature, address and date of birth.
- Failure to provide IDENTIFICATION will result in exclusion from the course.
- Learners MUST wear fully enclosed footwear and suitable work attire.

Short Term Low Impact (1 Day)

Short Term Low Impact (STLI) Training course deals specifically with those worksites which are of such a short nature and have sufficiently low impact that a site-specific risk assessment has determined that the work can be undertaken without the use of a Static Worksite. The types of activities that this training could be appropriate for are those that do not impact traffic flow (e.g., lane closures and speed reductions)
