This White Card course provides Students with the outcomes required to undertake Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) induction training prior to commencing construction work. The course requires the Student to demonstrate personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury of harm to self and others.
The content of this course covers basic principles of hazard identification, risk management, correct selection of personal protective equipment (PPE) and identifying procedures for responding to potential incidents and emergencies.
On successful completion of the course students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency CPCWHS1001 Work Safely in the Construction Industry and their photo ID White Card.
