Prerequisites:;Learners must provide evidence of completing:

• RIISS00063 Traffic Management Designer Skill Set for Urban Streets and Low Volume Roads which includes the pre-requisite unit RIICWD503E Prepare traffic management plans and traffic guidance schemes;
• AND At least 6 months experience applying the Traffic Management Designing skills and knowledge in a temporary traffic management workplace
• AND Provide evidence of relevant experience designing at least 4 different traffic management plan types
  (all being approved by a client and successfully used in practice) including pedestrian and cyclist controls, lane closures and at least one of the following design types:
  - construction sites  - public transport interfaces  - using portable traffic control devices   - roundabouts
  - high speed roads  -  Shoulder closures  - motorways or freeways

Course Overview:  This is a course for Students who will be responsible for developing traffic management plans (TMP) and traffic guidance schemes (TGSs) on High Volume roads (Category 2).

This course consists of Training (1 Day) + Post Course Assessment to be completed and marked.
